Terms of Sale
Last updated October 7, 2026
In short: you buy a digital book for your own kitchen. Please don't share the file. If it isn't for you, the 30-day money-back guarantee applies.
What you're buying
The Chuck Wagon Bible is a digital book (a PDF and an EPUB). Nothing is printed or shipped. After checkout, Gumroad shows you the download and emails you a link to it.
Price and checkout
The price is shown on the page and at checkout, in US dollars. Checkout is run by Gumroad, which may add sales tax or VAT where the law requires it, and its own terms apply to the payment.
Your licence
You may download the book, keep it, read it on your own devices and print pages for your own kitchen. You may not copy, share, resell, upload or publish the file or substantial parts of it, or use it to train software. If you received the book as a gift, the same applies to you.
Refunds
See the Refund Policy: 30 days, every dollar back, keep the book.
What the book is, and isn't
- A cookbook told in a persona's voice. Abel Salcido is the author's pen name and on-screen persona. The stories are told in his voice; the recipes, amounts and methods are written to be cooked.
- Food safety. Recipes were checked against current food-safety guidance, and where the old way needs a modern rule (jerky, lard, canning, keeping food), the book gives it. Follow it.
- Not medical or dietary advice. Check with your doctor if you have a condition that limits what you eat.
- Prices change. Costs per plate use U.S. average prices from October 2026. Your store will differ.
Liability
The book and this site are provided as they are. To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you for anything to do with the book is limited to the amount you paid for it. Nothing here takes away rights you have under the consumer laws where you live.
Changes
We may update these terms. The version on this page when you bought the book applies to that purchase.
